My husband is meeting with a man from our church this evening who also has a battle against porn addiction. It is such a relief to know that Anthony will be connecting with another Christian man. We’ve lived here in SE Michigan for over 3 years now and this is long overdue. His work schedule at the airport doesn’t allow for much time spent in small groups or attending church, unfortunately. This man, that he was referred to by a deacon and dear friend at our church, also has unusual, middle-of-the-week days off. This is truly a match made by God!
As for me, I’m not being left behind in the healing either. I’ve been emailing a good friend the last couple days and I shared with her my struggles and learned that I’m not the only one who has been here. She and her husband (both Christians) have also gone through this. I am determined to help bring this subject to the LIGHT! There is no reason that this should be such a problem among Christians if we would all just deal with it biblically and with courage. No more hiding or shame. The enemy cannot control me with this and I will not allow him to do this to others either.
